Treasury Accountant

The Treasury Accountant will work closely with various departments to ensure that all financial and treasury activities are accurate, properly controlled, efficiently executed, and compliant with regulatory requirements. This role involves managing accounting operations, cross-border payments, treasury management, foreign exchange, banking relationships, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial control processes.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper classification of transactions.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Oversee cross-border payment accounting and reconciliation across multiple currencies.
• Monitor cash positions, prepare forecasts, and manage liquidity.
• Handle foreign exchange management, including tracking FX rates, reconciling transactions, and calculating gains/losses.
• Maintain relationships with banks, payment processors, and other financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, including tax obligations.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls.
• Experience in treasury operations, cross-border payments, and FX management.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
