Short-Term Consultants

NHED is seeking highly qualified, dynamic, and experienced professionals to fill short-term consultancy roles in multiple technical and operational areas. The work may include field work, remote activities, and participation in workshops.

Responsibilities

• Support climate-health vulnerability assessments and develop strategies for climate-resilient healthcare infrastructure.
• Oversee and optimize health procurement processes, logistics systems, and supply chain strategies.
• Design, deploy, and manage digital health tools and data analytics dashboards.
• Drive strategic growth through proposal development, donor engagement, and marketing campaigns.
• Design and evaluate community-level mobilization strategies and social behavior change communication campaigns.
• Conduct fiscal space analyses and support resource mobilization and policy dialogues on health financing.
• Provide technical assistance for immunization programs and vaccine logistics.
• Develop training curricula and facilitate leadership and management workshops.
• Ensure the integration of gender equity and social inclusion principles in project designs.
• Support the revitalization of Ward Health Committees and primary healthcare governance structures.
• Develop research frameworks, design data collection tools, and conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven professional experience in development work, research, or program implementation.
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant data analysis or design tools.
• Strong team players with excellent capacity to engage smoothly with stakeholders and the NHED team.
