Coffee Barista

We are hiring a skilled and customer-focused Coffee Barista to join our modern café in Lekki, Lagos. The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality espresso-based drinks, deliver excellent service, and support daily café operations.

Responsibilities • Prepare espresso-based drinks including cappuccino, latte, mocha, and other specialty beverages. • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment. • Steam and texture milk to ensure consistent drink quality. • Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system. • Recommend beverages and menu items to customers. • Maintain a clean and organized coffee station and equipment. • Monitor beverage supplies, assist with inventory checks, and minimize wastage. • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. • Handle customer complaints professionally and support general café operations.

Requirements • 1–2 years of experience as a Barista in a café or similar beverage environment. • Practical knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee-making techniques. • Ability to operate commercial espresso machines and grinders. • Good milk-steaming and texturing skills. • Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and personal hygiene. • Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods. • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. • Candidates living around Lekki and Ajah are strongly encouraged to apply.
