Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all mechanical, electrical, and automated systems across farm and processing operations. This role ensures maximum equipment availability, reliability, safety, and operational efficiency while minimizing unplanned downtime and production costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of the plant’s equipment to ensure continuous operations.
• Provide technical support ensuring that scheduled routine and turnaround maintenance programs are complied with.
• Set up operating and quality standards and ensure implementation.
• Determine necessary resources (workforce, inventory, parts, etc.) required.
• Enforce health and safety precautions.
• Provide leadership for the team.

Requirements

• HND/B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a related industry
• Robust experience in Soya Oil Processing and Refining
