An optometrist will recognize and treat common eye conditions, prescribe vision aids and recognize serious optical diseases that should be referred to the ophthalmologist.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and treat common eye conditions
• Prescribe vision aids
• Identify serious optical diseases for referral to ophthalmologists

Requirements

• Must possess a doctor of optometry (O.D) degree
• Must be duly registered with the board and have a valid practicing license
• Must be an intermediate user of Microsoft office suite
• Must have completed NYSC
• Must be ready to learn
• Residence within or around Isolo is an added advantage
• A minimum of 2 years experience
