Role Overview

Tonia Pharmacy Limited is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to work on-site in Abuja. The role involves dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
• Provide counseling on proper drug use, side effects, and interactions.
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness and maintain accurate patient records.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and oversee storage conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support health education initiatives.
• Assist customers with health-related inquiries and promote responsible use of medicines.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized institution.
• Full professional registration and current practicing license.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical pharmacy practice, including safe dispensing, medication counseling, and pharmacovigilance.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, dosage calculations, drug interactions, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and documentation of patient and prescription records.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
