Makeup Assistant / Content & Social Media Assistant

Role Overview

A Makeup Assistant / Content & Social Media Assistant is needed to support makeup and content creation tasks, including behind-the-scenes filming, social media management, and studio organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with makeup jobs and set up/pack up makeup tools and products.
• Help with sorting, arranging and preparing hair/wigs when needed.
• Assist during bridal and makeup appointments.
• Create behind-the-scenes videos and content during jobs.
• Take good-quality photos and videos for social media.
• Edit short-form videos/Reels/TikToks when required.
• Assist with posting content across Instagram, TikTok and other platforms.
• Help maintain and organize the social media page.
• Be available to travel with me for jobs when required.
• Help keep the studio/workspace clean and organized.

Requirements

• Must live on the Island or be able to stay on the Island.
• Must be passionate about makeup, beauty and content creation.
• Must know how to take good videos with a phone/camera.
• Basic video editing skills are required.
• Must be social-media savvy and understand Instagram/TikTok.
• Must be punctual, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Must be comfortable working early mornings, weekends and during bridal bookings.
• Must have good communication skills and respect clients.
• Previous experience as a makeup assistant, hairstylist, content creator or social media assistant is an added advantage.

Salary ₦120,000 monthly
