Head, Institutional & Corporate Markets

Lead the development and execution of institutional and corporate market strategies to drive business growth and client acquisition. Manage client relationships, investment solutions, and distribution channels while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement institutional and corporate market strategies.
• Drive business development and relationship management for institutional and corporate clients.
• Oversee investment solutions and corporate treasury solutions.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships and distribution channels.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitive positioning analysis.
• Ensure strong client experience, reporting, and governance.
• Lead and manage a team effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration.
• Master's degree in a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, corporate banking, wealth management, institutional sales, or capital markets.
• At least 4–5 years in a senior institutional sales, relationship management, business development, or commercial leadership role.
• Proven track record of acquiring and managing institutional and corporate clients.
• Demonstrable experience in growing AUM and generating revenue through institutional and corporate relationships.
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management, fixed income, and capital markets.
• Experience working within a regulated financial services environment is essential.
• Knowledge of SEC regulations and the Nigerian capital markets is an advantage.
