About the role

Administrative Officer

LexTorah is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to support daily operations including academic coordination, student support, office management, and basic accounting functions.

Responsibilities

Administrative & Academic Operations:

  • Coordinate class schedules, tutor timetables, and make-up classes
  • Maintain student records, course documentation, and administrative files
  • Track student progression and follow up with students for next level enrolment
  • Issue course confirmations and student documentation
  • Monitor tutor attendance, course audit sheets, and student progress trackers
  • Support smooth delivery of daily academic operations

Student Support & Customer Service:

  • Attend to walk-in clients and respond to enquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp
  • Follow up with prospective students and support student registration
  • Handle student concerns professionally and escalate issues where necessary

Office Administration:

  • Manage office resources including stationery, textbooks, and supplies
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation systems
  • Support general office operations and assigned administrative tasks

Accounting Support:

  • Record and track student payments
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment documentation
  • Maintain financial records and support basic reconciliations
  • Assist with petty cash records and expense tracking

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in administration, customer service, or related roles
  • Background or experience in accounting required
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Must be available to work Monday to Saturday
  • Must reside within Yaba or its immediate environs
