Corporate Sales Head – Oil & Gas Chemicals

Ellasot Consulting is seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Head to drive sales and business development for drilling, production, and completion chemicals within the Oil & Gas industry in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and business development activities for drilling, production, and completion chemicals within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, service companies, procurement teams, and key decision-makers
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through contract award and customer support
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in response to client requirements and tenders
  • Coordinate vendor registration processes with oil and gas operators, EPC contractors, and service companies
  • Monitor and manage tender opportunities, ensuring timely and compliant submissions
  • Provide technical support and product recommendations to clients based on operational requirements
  • Coordinate product delivery, logistics, and customer service activities to ensure client satisfaction
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the sector
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business development updates for management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Petroleum Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales experience in drilling, production, or completion chemicals within the Oil & Gas sector
  • Demonstrated success in independently generating revenue and achieving sales targets
  • Strong understanding of upstream oil and gas operations and chemical applications
  • Excellent knowledge of Oil & Gas procurement processes, tendering procedures, and vendor registration requirements
  • Strong technical sales and business development capabilities
  • Ability to prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems
