Capital Market Research Analyst

Elvaridah is seeking a detail-oriented Capital Market Research Analyst to conduct in-depth market research and financial analysis supporting investment decisions across equities, fixed income, and other capital market instruments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental and quantitative research on listed companies, industries, and sectors
• Monitor economic indicators, monetary policies, and regulatory developments impacting capital markets
• Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and company disclosures to assess investment opportunities
• Evaluate market trends and identify potential investment risks and opportunities
• Prepare equity and fixed income research reports and investment recommendations
• Develop financial models and valuation analyses using DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, DDM, and Relative Valuation Metrics
• Conduct bond and fixed-income analyses, including yield curves, duration, and credit risk assessments
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly market intelligence reports
• Prepare investment presentations and research notes for management and clients
• Liaise with stockbrokers, fund managers, investment banks, and other market participants
• Ensure research activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Monitor portfolio and market risks and provide recommendations for mitigation

Requirements

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Detail-oriented with passion for financial markets
• Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation methodologies
• Knowledge of capital market instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
• Excellent research and report writing abilities
• Understanding of macroeconomic trends and market dynamics
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards
