Frontend Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for NCG's Edge platform
• Build and integrate APIs, microservices, and data pipelines to support monitoring and analytics workflows
• Collaborate with solutions architects and consultants on client-facing digital transformation projects
• Participate in technical scoping, solution design, and proof-of-concept development
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and documentation
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and contribute to continuous platform improvement
• Stay current with emerging technologies in observability, automation, and AI/ML operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related technical discipline (Master's is an advantage)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a product or platform engineering environment
• Strong proficiency in two or more languages: Python, Java, Go, Node.js, or Scala
• Proficiency in React & JSX (functional components, Hooks, state management, scalable architecture)
• Proficiency in translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready UIs
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, responsive layouts, and modern CSS best practices
• Strong API integration skills (REST APIs, async/await, loading states, error handling, data validation)
• Experience building data visualisations, charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards
• Experience with Clean Architecture principles and modular feature organisation
• Ability to work confidently with existing codebases
• Performance optimisation, accessibility, and responsive design skills
• Proficiency with Git, pull requests, and collaborative development practices
