About the role
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our Microbiology team. The role involves testing laboratory samples, maintaining quality management systems, ensuring compliance with international standards, and developing SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests according to approved standard methods
- Maintain quality management systems and ensure implementation
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards
- Monitor housekeeping programs and environmental conditions
- Develop SOPs and work instructions
- Prepare reagents, chemicals, and reference standards
- Maintain equipment calibration and verification schedules
- Ensure safety policies compliance and good laboratory practices
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality
Requirements
- Candidates must be a graduate of Microbiology
- Candidates must have a minimum grade of 2:1
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 - 4 years of cognate work experience as a Laboratory Analyst
