Senior Staff Operations Manager, Office of the President (PED)
The Senior Staff Operations Manager will serve as the President’s right hand, helping to run, maintain, and evolve the Product, Engineering & Design operating model. This role involves turning strategy into execution, owning the leadership rhythm, driving decision quality, improving execution velocity, evolving the operating model, and leading high-priority strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Run the President's operating cadence
- Own end-to-end orchestration of leadership rhythm: staff meetings, WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, finance and portfolio reviews, priority updates, and annual operating-plan inputs
- Drive decision quality by synthesizing diverse inputs into clear narratives for the President and leadership team
- Improve execution velocity by identifying alignment and execution risks and facilitating resolution across functions
- Evolve the operating model by establishing health measures and recommending changes to cadence, governance, and roles
- Lead high-priority strategic initiatives on behalf of the President
- Represent the President in meetings and discussions, navigating difficult conversations and cross-functional tradeoffs
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to the President and senior leadership team
Requirements
- Significant experience in Chief of Staff, Product Operations, Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, or management consulting
- A track record of owning an operating model, leadership cadence, or portfolio of complex cross-functional initiatives, preferably in tech companies
- Knowledge of the product/software development lifecycle
- Demonstrated proficiency with enterprise AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Glean, Cursor, or comparable platforms
- Exceptional written communication: ability to turn large volumes of input into concise, decision-ready narratives
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong executive presence and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, build consensus, resolve conflict, and push for decisions without formal authority
- High judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and taking ownership of cross-organizational problems
- Continuous-improvement mindset
- Bias toward action with good judgment
