Logistics Associate/Buyer

The Logistics Associate/Buyer is responsible for supporting the organisation’s procurement, purchasing, logistics coordination, and supply chain management activities. This includes sourcing suppliers, managing procurement and logistics data, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites.
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and project teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor delivery schedules, track goods, and maintain delivery documentation.
• Analyse procurement and logistics data to support decision-making.
• Evaluate supplier performance and manage supplier relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels and support materials management.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and manage cost control.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, PivotTables, etc.).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
