About the role
Sales Administrative Officer
Support the sales team by ensuring timely RFQ submissions, efficient order processing, and high-quality customer service while maintaining seamless sales operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate RFQs to customers; collect and organize information from internal teams
- Track RFQ statuses in CRM/ERP systems and follow up with customers
- Input customer orders into the ERP system and verify order details against RFQs
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams on order timelines and delivery schedules
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries about RFQs, orders, and products; resolve basic issues and escalate complex ones
- Maintain records of customer interactions and provide accurate product/order status updates
- Prepare basic reports on sales activities, RFQ outcomes, and order fulfillment rates
- Support sales team with meeting scheduling, documentation, and presentations
- Assist with data entry and data cleaning tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry (preferred but not required)
