Junior Accountant

LemFi is hiring a Junior Accountant to join their Finance team during a period of rapid global growth. You'll own core accounting activities, drive process improvements, and contribute to scaling the finance function across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Own reconciliations, month-end close, and day-to-day accounting tasks
• Identify gaps in financial processes and take ownership of fixing them
• Look for opportunities to automate repetitive tasks as the company grows
• Support financial reporting and grow into production of management accounts
• Partner with accounts payable and payroll teams on expense tracking

Requirements

• Part qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) — early in career but working toward full qualification
• Solid understanding of core accounting processes including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial data flow
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to accurate financial information
• Sharp, curious, and able to pick things up quickly
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable with ambiguity
• Adaptable and thriving in scaling business environments
• Able to identify, investigate, and raise issues independently

• Exposure to automation tools or AI
• Experience with workflow improvement
• Personal experimentation with technology
