About the role

Compliance and Documentation Officer

Stockgap Fuels Limited is seeking a Compliance and Documentation Officer to ensure adherence to regulatory and legal standards within the organization. This role involves monitoring compliance, managing documentation, and acting as a liaison with external regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and revising policies for general operations.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the organization’s compliance and risk management culture.
  • Interface with external regulatory bodies—including NNPC, PPMC, DPR, and NCD—to ensure all directives are met.
  • Conduct periodic compliance reviews and statutory inspections.
  • Manage the process for acquiring and renewing relevant regulatory certifications and licenses.
  • Source and tender for bids via the NipeX portal.
  • Actively participate in and promote company health and safety campaigns and policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND (Second Class Upper/Upper Credit) in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least four (4) years of relevant experience in internal control, compliance, or auditing within a similar industry.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) or equivalent are highly desirable.
