Elementary Teacher

The Elementary Teacher is responsible for providing a stimulating, supportive, and engaging learning environment that promotes the academic, social, emotional, and moral development of pupils in accordance with the British and Nigerian curricula.

Responsibilities

• Teach all core elementary subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Assess pupils' learning and maintain accurate records.
• Promote positive behaviour and classroom discipline.
• Communicate regularly with parents.
• Participate in school programmes and extracurricular activities.
• Support pupils' holistic development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
• TRCN certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
• Experience with British and Nigerian curricula is preferred.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creativity and patience.
• ICT competency.
• Good organizational skills.
• Passion for working with children.
• Strong moral character and professionalism.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
