Psychosocial Support Worker
Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI) is recruiting a Psychosocial Support Worker to provide mental health and emotional support services to vulnerable populations affected by conflict and humanitarian crises in Nigeria.
About PUI: PUI is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and non-religious international aid organization committed to supporting civilians affected by marginalization, exclusion, natural disasters, wars, and economic collapses. Since April 2016, PUI has been implementing humanitarian activities in Nigeria, supporting populations with food security, nutrition, health, and protection projects in Maiduguri and Borno State.
Responsibilities: Provide psychosocial support services to affected populations; conduct counseling and mental health assessments; facilitate support groups; document cases and maintain confidentiality; coordinate with health and protection teams.
Requirements: Relevant qualifications in psychology, social work, or counseling; experience in humanitarian settings preferred; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with vulnerable populations; fluency in local languages an advantage.
Location: Maiduguri, Borno State
