Technical Sales Coordinator

VINCI Construction is seeking a Technical Sales Coordinator to support commercial and technical activities for fixed gas and flame detection solutions in the oil and gas industry. You will act as the nexus between Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Clients, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality safety solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop customer relationships, including key accounts and new business opportunities
• Prepare, follow up, and support technical and commercial proposals
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, procurement, logistics, and internal teams for efficient project execution
• Perform site surveys, commissioning, first-line maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer training for gas and flame detection systems
• Develop maintenance plans, service agreements, and spare parts recommendations
• Monitor maintenance performance and maintain accurate technical and regulatory documentation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations
• Demonstrate commitment to QHSE standards and participate in safety initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales, project coordination, field service, or similar role in industrial safety, instrumentation, automation, or process control
• Excellent verbal and written English skills; able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong customer-facing, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working across technical and commercial activities
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree, PMP or equivalent Project Management certification
• Membership of a professional engineering body (e.g., COREN)
• Knowledge of fixed gas detection, flame detection, fire & gas, or related safety systems
