COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST

The Communication Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing communication and PR strategies, managing media relations, leading social media content and engagement, creating articles and website content, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels. They will also support events, partnerships, and institutional initiatives, while tracking communication performance and providing insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication and PR strategies.
• Manage media relations, press releases, and reputation management.
• Lead social media content and engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Create articles, newsletters, success stories, website content, and thought leadership pieces.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
• Support communication for events, partnerships, and institutional initiatives.
• Track communication performance and provide actionable insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in Communications, PR, Branding, or Corporate Communications.
• Strong writing, storytelling, media relations, and social media management skills.
• Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Canva, Hootsuite/Buffer, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in higher education or professional services is an added advantage.
