Cost Accountant (Factory Operations)

Chi Farms Ltd. is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to drive cost control, fixed asset management, and operational efficiency across our factory operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production costs across slaughtering, processing, packaging, and distribution operations
• Investigate variances between standard and actual costs, including materials, labour, utilities, and overheads
• Partner with Engineering and Production teams to review maintenance, energy, and operational costs
• Manage fixed asset accounting processes, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset verification exercises
• Prepare cost reports, gross margin analysis, SKU profitability reports, and landed cost calculations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, inventory reconciliation, and audit activities
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiency improvements across the business

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, or Factory Finance, preferably within FMCG
• Strong understanding of product costing, BOMs, inventory controls, and manufacturing overheads
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems such as Navision, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Strong analytical, reporting, and business partnering skills
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is an added advantage
