Regional Sales Manager – Proten
Drive solar energy business growth across Eastern Nigeria by closing large-scale deals, building client relationships, and expanding market share in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Drive and close large-scale solar energy deals across Eastern Nigeria
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with high-value clients, including businesses, distributors, developers, and government entities
- Strategically grow the company's solar market share in the southern regions
- Prepare high-quality sales proposals, presentations, and quotations for large projects
- Coordinate closely with project, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform business strategy
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in senior sales roles within the solar energy sector
- Proven track record of successfully closing large-scale solar deals
- Deep understanding of solar technologies, project economics, and the Nigerian energy market
- Strong existing relationships with clients, distributors, and stakeholders in Eastern Nigeria
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
- Must reside in Eastern Nigeria and be willing to travel extensively within the region
