Regional Sales Manager – Proten

Drive solar energy business growth across Eastern Nigeria by closing large-scale deals, building client relationships, and expanding market share in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and close large-scale solar energy deals across Eastern Nigeria
  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with high-value clients, including businesses, distributors, developers, and government entities
  • Strategically grow the company's solar market share in the southern regions
  • Prepare high-quality sales proposals, presentations, and quotations for large projects
  • Coordinate closely with project, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform business strategy
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in senior sales roles within the solar energy sector
  • Proven track record of successfully closing large-scale solar deals
  • Deep understanding of solar technologies, project economics, and the Nigerian energy market
  • Strong existing relationships with clients, distributors, and stakeholders in Eastern Nigeria
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
  • Must reside in Eastern Nigeria and be willing to travel extensively within the region
