Role Overview
Lead Maintenance M&E Power Engineer / Site Facility Manager at International Facilities Services Limited (IFS) is a senior technical leadership position responsible for managing the power infrastructure and critical building systems across a high-profile facility. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to ensure operational reliability and safety.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize integrated power supply architecture including national grid, solar hybrid system, diesel generators, and battery/UPS backup systems.
- Oversee ATS/AMF panel operations, monitor solar hybrid system performance, and manage HV/LV electrical distribution.
- Plan and supervise generator PPM, manage diesel fuel procurement, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Conduct root cause analysis for electrical faults, review and approve maintenance work, and identify energy optimization opportunities.
- Provide technical oversight across all M&E systems, including HVAC, hydraulics, fire detection, lifts, and UPS systems.
- Lead the engineering team, manage subcontractors, and serve as the primary technical representative in client interactions.
- Prepare monthly technical performance reports and manage BMS operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a maintenance engineer with technical depth in power systems.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to write professional technical reports and present them confidently.
- Experience with solar hybrid systems, diesel generators, and BMS.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
