Thrift Marketer – South South 2 Zone

LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited is seeking a Thrift Marketer to acquire and service clients in the South South 2 Zone, based in Port Harcourt. You will drive client acquisition, manage daily collections, and maintain strong customer relationships while representing the LAPO brand.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new clients and open specified savings accounts
• Conduct daily visits to clients (markets, shops, etc.) to collect savings
• Plan routine visits strategically to minimize operational costs
• Provide excellent customer service and treat clients with respect
• Monitor competitors and outperform them in your catchment area
• Ensure accurate reconciliation and reporting of all activities to supervisors
• Manage client complaints professionally
• Maintain and expand the LAPO MfB brand
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• Education: NCE or OND in Finance, Marketing, IT/Computer Science, or related field. Professional qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in customer relationship management and marketing
• Skills: Proficient with computer devices (smartphone or tablet)
