Managing Director

Responsible for overseeing financial services, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves leading sales efforts, handling policy renewals, and growing the client base through networking and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Research, compare, and market various insurance products.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, handle renewal and policy changes.
  • Proactively identify new lead opportunities and network within the community to grow the existing client’s base.
  • Ensure all documentation meets state regulations and requirements.
  • Manage various deals such as investments, real estate, or insurance within the finance and banking industries.
  • Act as a liaison between parties, create and maintain relationships, administer sales, and perform administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Marketing in insurance sales and brokerage.
  • 5-8 years of experience in the same position and 2 years within a managerial position.
  • Must be licensed and certified in insurance.
  • Excellent customer service, closing deals, and processing documentation after the sales process is complete.
  • Experience in marketing, strong spoken and written communication in English and Yoruba, strong influencing and negotiating skills, time management, client management, insurance advisory, and technical competence in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience with managing corporates and high net-worth individuals.
