About the role
Administrative Assistant
Protea Hotel By Marriott Lagos is recruiting an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support ensuring efficient office operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to management and staff
- Prepare, edit, and format letters, reports, presentations, and documents
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, letters, phone calls)
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Ensure office environment is organized and adequately supplied
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate procurement
- Maintain office equipment and arrange repairs/servicing
- Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute notes
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and administrative documentation
- Compile, update, and generate reports
- Serve as first point of contact for visitors, clients, and stakeholders
- Respond to inquiries and direct to appropriate personnel
- Assist with organizing company events, workshops, and training sessions
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree
- 2–3 years of relevant experience
