About the role
Young Talent Program (Direct Sales)
Develop into a successful sales professional within the financial services industry through structured training, coaching, and hands-on experience in customer acquisition and relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Participate in structured onboarding, classroom training, and on-the-job learning activities
- Prospect and acquire new customers through field sales, referrals, networking, and marketing campaigns
- Promote and sell financial products and services (savings accounts, loans, digital banking solutions, retail financial products)
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service delivery
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable financial solutions
- Generate quality leads and convert prospects into active customers
- Meet assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Assist customers with account opening, product enrollment, and documentation
- Ensure customer records and documentation are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements
- Participate in product activations, roadshows, and promotional events
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM systems
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage product usage
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities within assigned territories
- Adhere to all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to Team Lead or Sales Manager
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Banking and Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- NYSC completed or exemption certificate (where applicable)
Experience:
- 0–2 years of work experience
- Previous sales or customer service experience is an advantage but not required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building abilities
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
