Salem Academy Abuja is seeking an experienced Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging, learner-focused lessons while supporting students’ academic development and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive Chemistry lessons tailored to students’ varying abilities.
• Use creative teaching methods to promote analytical thinking, innovation, and curiosity.
• Assess and track students’ performance through tests, assignments, and classwork.
• Maintain a disciplined, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support students’ development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• 2–10 years of relevant teaching experience.
• TRCN certification, or currently pursuing TRCN certification, or an education-related qualification.
• Strong lesson planning and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners.
