In-House Lawyer
Bradfield Consulting is seeking a skilled and motivated In-House Lawyer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, in-depth legal knowledge, and the ability to provide strategic legal advice.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research on complex issues, interpret statutes, regulations, and case law, and provide detailed analysis and legal advice.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant legal frameworks and minimizing legal risks.
- Assist in managing litigation matters, including preparation of pleadings, motions, and briefs. Coordinate with external counsel as needed.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, advise the company on compliance requirements, and develop policies to ensure adherence to legal standards.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes, ensuring the company’s interests are protected in settlements, mediations, arbitrations, or litigation.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic legal guidance and ensuring effective communication between legal and business teams.
- Identify potential legal risks, recommend proactive solutions, and work with business teams to implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide legal support on matters related to corporate governance, including the drafting of board resolutions, corporate filings, and other corporate documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and Call to Bar (B.L) certificates.
- Minimum of 5 years PQE across a top-tier law firm and/or a corporate legal department.
- Proven experience in corporate law, commercial contracting, and regulatory liaison.
- Proactive and solution-oriented.
- Strong ethical judgment and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
