About the role
Administrative Office Assistant
Cornelia International Schools is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the school's administrative functions while providing support to staff, students, and parents.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to school management and staff
- Manage correspondence, emails, and phone calls professionally
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
- Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and school events
- Handle front desk duties and attend to visitors, parents, and students
- Support admissions and student record management processes
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and manage inventory
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 1–3 years of proven experience in an administrative role (preferably in an educational setting)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
