About the role

Customer Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Customer Acquisition Specialist to drive customer acquisition, promote financial products and services, and build long-term relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will identify sales opportunities, educate customers on financial solutions, meet sales targets, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new customers for financial products and services
  • Promote products including savings accounts, loans, investment products, insurance, and digital banking solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend appropriate financial solutions
  • Generate leads through field marketing, referrals, networking, and business development activities
  • Meet and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on financial products to individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients
  • Follow up on prospects and convert leads into active customers
  • Ensure accurate completion and submission of customer documentation
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and update customer information in CRM systems
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests professionally
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new financial products
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
  • Prepare regular sales and activity reports for management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
  • 1 year of experience in sales, business development, customer relationship management, or financial services
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship management abilities
  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable financial solutions
  • Strong presentation and persuasion skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • High level of integrity and professionalism

Added Advantage: Experience in banking, fintech, microfinance, insurance, or consumer lending; Professional certifications in sales or finance
