Role Overview

The Land Surveyor at Abodes Lagos is a full-time position responsible for planning and conducting land and topographic surveys for the company's assets. Responsibilities include operating surveying instruments, collecting field data, preparing reports, and producing drawings to support asset management decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct land and topographic surveys
• Operate surveying instruments
• Collect accurate field data
• Prepare survey reports and produce drawings or maps
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
• Verify boundaries and ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain survey records and adhere to safety standards
• Support continuous improvement of surveying processes and tools

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years post-NYSC experience
• Proficiency in setting out and parcellation
• Ability to pick points, take measurements, and generate perimeter surveys
• Ability to pick coordinates and chart them both unofficially and officially
• Strong experience engaging locals and families on land protection
• Ability to lead engineers and coordinate site activities effectively
