IT Engineer (Mid-Level Developer)

Triax Technologies is hiring mid-level developers to build, test, and ship features across the stack. You'll work on technically solid systems handling sensitive data, write secure and maintainable code, and collaborate with the team through active code review and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and ship features across the stack to team standards and architecture
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code with care around financial transactions and customer data
• Implement and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and external services
• Participate actively in code review, giving and receiving feedback
• Debug and resolve issues methodically, addressing root causes
• Support deployments and respond to production issues within your scope
• Document systems for understanding and maintenance by others

Requirements

• 2–4 years of practical development experience on live systems used by real people
• Comfortable across the stack, or clearly strong on one side with working knowledge of the other
• Real competence in at least one back-end language and framework, plus front-end fundamentals
• Strong database fundamentals: transactions, query performance, and security
• Working grasp of web security: common vulnerabilities, standard defences, and data handling best practices
• Methodical debugging temperament; investigate before guessing
• Coachable, honest about knowledge gaps, and reliable on unglamorous work

Nice to Have

• Experience with APIs and third-party integrations
• Exposure to version control discipline, testing, and code review
• Familiarity with deployment pipelines
• Fintech, insurtech, or regulated-data experience
