Quantity Surveyor

We are recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Lagos. This is a full-time role ideal for a proactive professional who can deliver accurate cost planning, maintain financial control, and support the successful execution of large-scale construction developments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for all construction projects
• Update As-Built BOQs monthly across all estate developments
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility analyses for new and ongoing projects
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle and ensure BOQs are updated for all approved variations
• Evaluate contractors' interim valuations, final accounts, and payment applications
• Supervise procurement activities and monitor inventory management to ensure cost efficiency
• Conduct cost analysis and financial performance reviews across all active project sites
• Prepare weekly and monthly project financial reports for Management
• Support contract administration, including contract documentation, claims, and variation management
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, Finance, and Site Teams to achieve project objectives
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project delivery standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Minimum of 7 years' professional experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
• Registration with the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN) is required
• Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) is required
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and project financial management
• Experience preparing BOQs, cost reports, and contractor valuations
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and reporting skills

Salary

N350,000 - N500,000 per month
