Licensed Stockbroker / Treasury Officer

GABS Financial Services Limited is seeking an agile and experienced Stockbroker / Treasury Officer for an active trading role. The successful candidate will be responsible for market trading, treasury operations, portfolio management, liquidity positioning, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily proprietary and portfolio trades across equities and fixed-income instruments.
• Manage the firm’s trading terminal and monitor market movements for timely trading decisions.
• Monitor and rebalance mutual funds and investment portfolios to optimize short-term returns.
• Manage daily liquidity positioning and cash flow.
• Maintain relationships with brokerages, custodians, and relevant regulators.
• Prepare daily trading logs and weekly portfolio valuation reports.
• Prepare comprehensive financial and management reports.
• Assess real-time market risks and support effective trading decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• CIS professional qualification is an advantage.
• Proven experience in active trading and treasury operations within a reputable financial institution.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and market risk assessment skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Salary ₦400,000 – ₦600,000 Monthly
