Regional Sales Manager

Alan & Grant is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee field sales operations across a geographic region in Nigeria. You will direct third-party sales and merchandising resources to achieve net sales, distribution, volume growth, and market share targets.

Responsibilities

• Create regional sales plans and quotas aligned with business objectives
• Support Store Managers with day-to-day store operations
• Evaluate store and individual performance metrics
• Report on regional sales results to senior management
• Plan and execute regular sales reviews; create reports for senior-level officers
• Conduct tracking meetings to provide feedback and sales insights
• Forecast quarterly and annual profits
• Identify hiring needs; select and train new salespeople
• Prepare and review the annual budget for your area of responsibility
• Analyze regional market trends and identify new growth opportunities
• Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
• Participate in decisions regarding expansion or acquisition
• Suggest new products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
• Build relationships with key contacts (Operations & Store Managers)

Requirements

• HND or BSc in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field (Postgraduate qualification is a plus)
• 8+ years of progressive sales experience; sector-specific experience preferred
• Managerial experience in a related field
• Proven track record of meeting sales quotas
• Excellent team leadership skills
• Effective communication skills
• Rigorous, autonomous, innovative, and proactive approach
