About the role

Manager - Broadband Regional Sales South East

Lead MTN Nigeria's broadband sales strategy across the South East region, managing direct and indirect sales teams to achieve revenue, distribution, and growth targets across the full product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the regional broadband sales team
  • Achieve revenue, airtime sales, data device, data and VAS revenue, and gross connection targets
  • Drive execution of MTN's broadband agenda including visibility, merchandising, retail expansion, and loyalty programs
  • Execute channel strategy with partners, manage profitability and credit
  • Ensure consistent customer experience across retail formats
  • Manage regional OPEX and P&L
  • Oversee field coverage and go-to-market plan execution
  • Develop and coach regional sales teams
  • Manage territory coverage, stock availability, and recommended retail pricing
  • Coordinate with inventory teams on sales forecasts and distribution performance

Requirements

Education

  • First degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or Social Sciences
  • Fluent in English; local language proficiency preferred
  • Post-graduate degree is an added advantage

Experience

  • 6–13 years in sales and management
  • 4+ years at manager level
  • 3+ years in relevant sector (Telecoms, FMCG, Services, or Logistics)
  • Experience across diverse cultures and geographies is advantageous
