Senior Finance Officer

Responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, including budgeting, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This role involves managing day-to-day financial activities and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor day-to-day financial operations such as payroll, invoicing, and transactions.
  • Prepare annual and monthly budgets and monitor adherence through performance reviews.
  • Prepare cash flow projections and manage liquidity.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with corporate reporting requirements.
  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations and daily transaction postings.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and report variances to management.
  • Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate statutory audits and ensure timely filing of financial statements.
  • Process and review payroll schedules and prepare variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with finance policies and procedures.
  • Support fundraising and manage shareholder and debt provider reporting.
  • Contribute to building strong financial controls and support digital transformation projects.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for the Board and board committees.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience in the finance sector.
