Merchandising Officer

JV Management Consulting is seeking energetic, customer-focused, and result-oriented individuals to join our team as Merchandising Officers. The successful candidates will serve as frontline brand ambassadors, responsible for field merchandising, consumer engagement, product sampling, and retail activation across assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Execute market, street, school, and retail activation campaigns.
• Merchandise products in line with company standards and set up branded promotional and sampling stations.
• Conduct consumer education and product sampling activities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with retailers and distributors.
• Ensure proper product visibility and shelf presence.
• Ensure compliance with approved product pricing.
• Distribute promotional materials and gather relevant market intelligence.
• Submit accurate daily digital field reports using a smartphone.
• Maintain company uniforms, merchandising equipment, and promotional assets.

Requirements

• Possess an OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification with 2 - 3 years work experience.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Mandatory fluency in Nigerian Pidgin English.
• Basic smartphone proficiency.
• Valid means of identification.
• Must reside in Asaba or its environs.
• Must be willing to travel extensively across Southern Nigeria.
