Accountant – Shawsand Medical Centre

Shawsand Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise accounting activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, track, analyse, and report budget variances
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Handle tax matters and annual statutory returns
• Liaise with external auditors and support the execution of statutory audit exercises
• Ensure internal control systems, policies, and procedures are implemented in line with management requirements
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of accounting staff

Requirements

• Minimum of a First Degree or HND qualification in Accounting or a related field
• At least 7 years of relevant and proven work experience as an accountant
• Strong analytical, reporting, and supervisory skills
