About the role
Pre-Sales Engineer at Cyberspace Limited
Support revenue growth by designing, positioning, and presenting Cybercloud's full suite of cloud solutions to prospective clients. This role bridges the gap between sales and technical teams, translating customer requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design tailored solutions across Cybercloud offerings (WaaS, cloud infrastructure, hosting, backup, security) working with sales teams
- Develop solution architectures, proposals, and technical documentation
- Lead technical presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs for clients
- Maintain deep knowledge of Cybercloud products including web hosting, cloud infrastructure, backup & disaster recovery, email hosting, and security solutions
- Work closely with sales, technical, and operations teams to ensure solution feasibility and smooth post-sale handover
- Provide input on pricing, costing, and commercial structuring of deals
- Design and support Proofs of Concept (PoC) where required
- Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product improvement
Requirements
- 3–6 years experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or cloud/IT consulting
- Experience in cloud, hosting, or managed services environment
- Proven experience supporting enterprise or B2B sales teams
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (VMs, storage, virtualization), web hosting (cPanel, WHMCS, DNS, domains), networking basics (IP, VPNs, firewalls), backup & disaster recovery, and security (SSL, access control, server hardening)
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Commercial awareness and understanding of sales cycles
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
