Direct Sales Agent

FMR Agency is recruiting experienced Direct Sales Agents to drive merchant acquisition and revenue growth in the digital payments sector. This field-based role focuses on identifying, engaging, and onboarding business clients across Lagos.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential business clients (SMEs, retail stores, hospitality outlets, corporate clients) within assigned territories
• Promote and sell digital payment solutions, including collections and payout services
• Conduct product demonstrations and communicate features and benefits to prospective merchants
• Support merchants through onboarding, KYC documentation, and account activation
• Achieve assigned monthly merchant acquisition and activation targets
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities using CRM tools
• Provide post-onboarding support to ensure customer retention and product usage
• Gather and report market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor activities to sales leadership

Requirements

• Minimum OND/HND/BSc in any discipline
• 2–3 years of direct sales experience in FinTech
• Mandatory prior experience with OPay, PalmPay, or Moniepoint
• Proven merchant acquisition, field sales, and customer onboarding experience
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills
• Self-motivated, confident, and target-driven
• Ability to work independently in field-based environment
• Good knowledge of Lagos business landscape
• Basic digital literacy including smartphone applications, WhatsApp, and CRM tools
