Logistics Support Officer

Goonite Hygiene Product FZE is seeking a Logistics Support Officer to support efficient transportation and distribution operations. The role involves managing transporters, coordinating truck bookings, monitoring logistics processes, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and manage credible transporters with a focus on cost control.
• Develop and implement logistics processes, SOPs, and structures.
• Coordinate truck bookings and follow up on transit issues.
• Ensure timely truck arrivals, offloading, and accurate deliveries.
• Monitor transportation rates and factors affecting rate fluctuations.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to optimize shipping routes.
• Develop and implement logistics safety policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent support to internal and external stakeholders on shipment-related matters.

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc. in a relevant field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar logistics role.
• Experience in the FMCG industry, preferably with diaper or sanitary pad companies, is an advantage.
• Excellent reporting, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software.
• Must reside around Ibeju-Lekki, Eleko, or Akodo.
