General Manager – Shoelab NG

Shoelab NG is seeking a highly driven and results-oriented General Manager to oversee the overall performance, growth, and strategic development of the business. The successful candidate will drive business growth, improve profitability, identify expansion opportunities, and ensure all departments operate efficiently toward achieving company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for business expansion, new revenue streams, and strategic partnerships
• Oversee overall business performance and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
• Establish performance metrics and accountability systems across departments
• Monitor and analyze business KPIs, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
• Work closely with department heads and managers to improve productivity and service delivery
• Lead business planning initiatives, including annual goals and growth targets
• Drive customer acquisition, retention, and customer experience improvement initiatives
• Review business processes and implement systems that improve efficiency and scalability
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, expenses, and profitability indicators
• Prepare business performance reports and strategic recommendations for executive management
• Support the successful launch and growth of new business locations and expansion projects
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, vendors, and stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional projects that contribute to company growth and development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in business management, general management, business development, growth management, or similar leadership role
• Demonstrated experience growing, scaling, or managing a business, business unit, or multi-location operation
• Strong understanding of business strategy, financial performance management, and organizational leadership
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth and improve business performance
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to lead teams, influence performance, and drive accountability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and business reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in retail, hospitality, service-based businesses, consumer brands, or multi-location businesses
• Experience leading business expansion projects, launching new locations, or scaling operations
• Experience managing managers and cross-functional teams
• MBA or relevant professional certifications

Salary

₦350,000 – ₦400,000 per month
