About the role

Montessori Teacher

The Montessori Teacher is responsible for implementing authentic Montessori principles to nurture the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of young learners in a prepared learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement Montessori-based learning activities.
  • Prepare and maintain a stimulating Montessori classroom.
  • Observe, assess, and document children's progress.
  • Foster independence, creativity, and self-directed learning.
  • Maintain positive communication with parents.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
  • Participate in school events and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or NCE in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
  • Montessori certification is highly desirable and will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Montessori or Early Years setting.
  • Experience implementing Montessori methodology is preferred.
