Montessori Teacher
The Montessori Teacher is responsible for implementing authentic Montessori principles to nurture the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of young learners in a prepared learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement Montessori-based learning activities.
- Prepare and maintain a stimulating Montessori classroom.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress.
- Foster independence, creativity, and self-directed learning.
- Maintain positive communication with parents.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Participate in school events and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or NCE in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Montessori certification is highly desirable and will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Montessori or Early Years setting.
- Experience implementing Montessori methodology is preferred.
