Sales & Marketing Officer

A Sales & Marketing Officer is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, promoting company services, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role involves lead generation, sales presentations, market research, and collaboration with operations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, social media, and other marketing channels.
• Promote the company’s logistics, delivery, haulage, and related services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
• Follow up on leads and convert prospects into paying customers.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
• Develop and implement marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility and sales.
• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, customer interactions, and conversions.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare regular sales and marketing reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, preferably within logistics, transportation, or a related industry.
• Proven ability to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Good knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant sales/CRM tools.
