About the role

Analyst - Master Brand, Marketing

MTN Nigeria seeks an experienced marketing analyst to develop and execute regional marketing campaigns, manage competitive intelligence, and track campaign performance across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop regional marketing localized campaign briefs based on regional insights and cascade national campaigns to regions
  • Collate market insights and maintain regional competitive intelligence database
  • Develop regional marketing tactical plans and activation initiatives for product education and uptake
  • Partner with integrated marketing agencies to develop regional communication and BTL campaigns
  • Support planning, coordination, and tracking of regional campaign execution across digital, OOH, traditional, and experiential channels
  • Manage deployment trackers, creative material logs, and vendor schedules
  • Track campaign performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions, adoption) and produce weekly/monthly Power BI and Excel dashboards
  • Conduct trade visibility audits and ensure MTN brand identity compliance across POS, retail, and promotional materials
  • Organize regional activations and sponsorships with post-event ROI and customer sentiment analysis
  • Maintain detailed campaign documentation including status updates, signoffs, and feedback reports
  • Liaise with Regional Sales and CEX teams to integrate customer feedback into campaign refinements
  • Ensure compliance with MTN's Responsible Marketing and Advertising Policy and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Postgraduate diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline (advantageous)
  • APCON Certification
  • Fluency in English and other local languages

Experience:

  • 3–7 years in marketing, regional marketing, or FMCG/telco environments
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, or similar analytics tools
  • Strong proactive and execution skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project management abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines
