About the role
Sales Manager
Alfred & Victoria Associates is seeking a Sales Manager to drive sales growth by establishing client relationships, managing the sales team, and implementing strategic business plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality relationships with clients through support, information, and guidance
- Identify prospect needs and provide tailored solutions
- Provide on-the-ground support for sales consultants in lead generation and deal closure
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement strategic business plans to expand customer base and strengthen market presence
- Own recruiting, objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Present sales, revenue, expenses reports, and realistic forecasts to management
- Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and monitor competition and new products
- Maintain sales staff performance through counseling, disciplining, planning, monitoring, and appraisal
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs for key demographics
- Travel to other locations, towns, and outside the country as needed
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration
Experience:
- 2–3 years as a Sales Manager
- 3–5 years in sales
- Proven track record of positive sales performance
Skills:
- Quality management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Sales planning and target setting (monthly)
- Data analysis and reporting
- Mentoring, motivational, and coaching abilities
- Understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques
- Proficiency in English
- Team player mentality
- Fast learner with adaptability to change
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
